do NOT feed puppy food (ever). Mastiffs need to grow really slow and keep their perotin levels low while a puppy. Puppy food (even high quality) has way too much perotin for mastiffs. In all honesty, any reasonably priced food is not a high enough quality for them. Iams, Science diet, etc has too many fillers.We buy a brand of food only available at small pet stores that specialize in nutrition. It costs about $50 for a 30 lb bag and lasts us about 3 weeks.It seems over the top to many but you get what you pay for. There are several high qultiay dry dog foods to choose from. I would recommend brands such as Canidae, Innova, Evo, Timberwolf Organics, Orijen, Flint River Ranch, Merrick, Life's Abundance, Wellness, Solid Gold, Nature's Variety, etc. Those are all made from human grade ingredients and don't contain fillers. Brands to try and stay away from are Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, Pedigree, Purina, Ol' Roy, Kibbles N Bits, The Goodlife Recipe, etc. Any dog food you can find at grocery stores/Wal-Mart/etc. are pretty much garbage. Royal Canin is not a horrible food, but I, personally, wouldn't feed it. Canidae is one of the favorites to feed, so you may want to check out that one. Any of the high qultiay ones I listed are great, but some may be too rich for some dogs. Find one that's right for yours Good luck!

Pour moi tous les chiens sont daegurenx et je suis peine9e qu'on tue des chiens car ils sont potentiellement daegurenx.C'est plutf4t aux maeetres de s'en prendre car quand on prend un chien c'est une responsabilite9.On ne laisse jamais un enfant d'e2ge quelconque tout seul avec n'importe quel chien.Les caniches aussi peuvent attaquer.Au lieu de ce massacre qui ame8ne e0 l'abandon massif de ces pauvres chiens,on devrait refaire l'e9ducation des maeetres dont certains utlisent leur animal comme une arme de destruction massive.e7a me de9sole.au lieu de e7a,le gouvernement devrait plutf4t s'occuper des choses urgentes commele chf4mage ou les banlieues avant de tuer des chiens. - 2012-05-16 07:20:26 - Guest
